Can you really write a blog post about one thing that will change your life and business? Well, I am going to try.
 
 
It is actually ironic because today's blog is the one I'm writing after I decided that I needed a YouTube channel after hosting our mastermind retreat last week.
 
 

Time to Create Something New

Fun backstory, you learn just as much as a female entrepreneur mastermind coach as you do a client. I was teaching about repurposing and our repurposing strategy and was like, WHY don't we do this? I am also a manifesting generator 2/4 which means I just act freaking fast. It's like in my blood, I can't sleep until I do. So Sunday morning, 5:30 am when I get to sleep in, what do I do? Set up a YouTube channel and here we are. I have NO clue what I am doing.
 
No, that is not what this blog is about.
 
Today, however, I am going to tell you about one of my favorite business productivity tips and the hack that gave me the time and energy to just roll out of bed on a Sunday morning to set up a YouTube Channel. Like I was genuinely excited on Christmas morning kind of thing.

Why Putting Yourself First Matters

For those of you that have followed me for a while, I started back in networking marketing when my twins were babies. Every single time I put myself first, my business thrived.
 
Today. Same results.
 
In the fall I made a promise to myself to go to yoga two times per week. Anti-Social School was born and changed our ENTIRE business model (which I will do a post on soon).
 
 
This winter, I hired a coach who is also a therapist and a friend and we spent three months focused on: Capacity. Whitespace. Making space for Holly to feel good. And aligned.

So what does that mean?

Tangibly? For me right now, it means I wake up every morning and write in my journal, "How do I want to feel today?". And then I go do something to make me feel good. Yoga, walking, reading, whatever. I come first.
 
 
On the weekends when I am planning my week, I ask myself, "How do I want to feel this week?" and in a very specific example, I actually canceled meetings this week. This weekend I spoke at an event, which takes A LOT out of me. I love it, but I need a minute to recover. We also have some big projects behind the scenes happening. So what did I need? Space to be creative.
 

When was the last time you asked yourself "How do you want to feel?" And then took action on it?

 
What if building your business to the next level was actually finding the capacity to do more work on yourself? Hint: it is. You can actually only create so many systems, routines, etc. Eventually, you will cap out on your time. To get to your next level you have to have the space to imagine it.
 

So today. Ask yourself. How do you want to feel? And do something about it.
