My Monthly PR and Visibility Plan (No Social Media Needed)

ai and automation blog business strategy marketing without social media Aug 05, 2026
business strategist for female entrepreneurs Holly Haynes

What if the thing driving 40% of your leads had nothing to do with posting on Instagram?

That is my reality. I run a monthly PR and visibility plan that gets me found, booked, and paid without a single reel. 40% of my leads come from podcast guest appearances. 71% of my sales come from email every month. And the blog posts I wrote a year ago are still the ones sending me the most traffic today. None of that came from a trending audio or a perfectly timed carousel. It came from a plan I run on repeat.

This is the closing piece of the PR and AI visibility series I ran on the podcast all summer. If you caught the guest episodes with Amanda, KJ, and Gloria Chou, you already have the expert view. This one is different. This is the actual system I run every month behind the scenes in Anti-Social School™, broken down so you can build your own version.

Here is what you will walk away with: my four visibility pillars ranked by what actually pays off, the exact cadence I aim for, how I find and pitch podcasts, and where to start if you only have room for one layer right now.

Let me show you the whole thing.

What a monthly PR and visibility plan actually is

A monthly PR and visibility plan is a repeatable system of activities that get you found by new people and turn that attention into leads, without relying on daily social media. Mine runs on four pillars, and I rank them in the order they actually pay off, not the order that feels busiest.

Here is the ranked breakdown:

Pillar What it is My cadence ROI speed
Partnerships & community speaking Speaking inside other people's communities, plus two-way collaborations 1 partnership/month, 1-2 speaking spots/quarter Fastest
Podcast placements Guesting on other shows + booking the right guests for mine 1-2 guest spots/month Fast
Newsletter community corner Connecting partnerships and podcast spots back to my list Weekly Compounds
SEO & GEO Blog posts that link to real episodes and communities Ongoing Slowest, highest long-term

The magic is not any single pillar. It is that they feed each other. A community talk becomes a podcast invite. The podcast episode becomes a blog post. The blog post gets mentioned in my newsletter. The newsletter drives replies that turn into partnerships. One effort, four touchpoints, zero scrolling.

The takeaway: you do not need to do all four at once. You need to pick the layer that fits your capacity and run it consistently.

Why partnerships and community speaking bring the fastest leads

Speaking inside a community is the single highest-return activity I do. When I look at where my actual buyers came from, live and virtual community talks produce the biggest and fastest return every single time. Partnerships and podcast spots sit right behind them.

So this pillar gets my energy first.

What counts as a partnership

A partnership is a two-way relationship, not a one-time email swap. It has to give value in both directions. Here is what qualifies for me:

  • A newsletter mention where we each introduce the other to our list
  • A guest spot on someone's show or inside their program
  • A collaborative email or joint offer
  • A live training I teach inside another person's community

What almost never works is the cold reach-out. I lead with relationships first, people I already know and communities I already show up in. The warm ask converts. The cold blast gets ignored.

My cadence for this pillar

I aim for one partnership a month and one to two community speaking spots a quarter. That shakes out to roughly one speaking spot a month with the occasional break. If you only have time for one visibility activity, make it this one.

The takeaway: get in front of a warm room you did not have to build. That is the fastest path to new leads there is.

How podcast guesting drives 40% of my leads

Podcast guest appearances account for 40% of my leads, which is exactly why I treat guesting as a core growth strategy and not a bonus. This pillar has two sides: pitching myself onto other shows, and booking the right guests for Crush the Rush.

How I find podcasts to pitch

I start with relationships first, same as partnerships. People I already know. Shows I already listen to. Hosts I have a real connection with. That is where the yes lives.

When I want to expand past my circle, I use a research tool called Rephonic to find shows by audience size, topic, and fit. It lets me stop guessing and pitch shows where my message actually lands.

My goal is one to two guest appearances on other podcasts a month.

How I decide who to book on my show

Booking guests is visibility too, because the right guest brings their audience and their credibility to my platform. I say yes when a guest has a clear point of view, a topic my listeners are already asking about, and a genuine reason to share the episode with their own people. I say no when it feels like a one-way promo with nothing in it for my audience.

The takeaway: guesting is not a nice-to-have. If it drove 40% of your leads, you would put it on the calendar too.

Why your newsletter is the glue that holds visibility together

Email is where all of this visibility converts, which is why 71% of my sales come from email every single month. The newsletter is not a fifth separate task. It is the thread that ties the other three pillars together.

Inside my weekly newsletter I run what I call a community corner. It is a short, intentional section where I connect my partnerships and podcast spots back to my list. It sounds like a friendly update, but it is doing real strategic work:

  • It introduces my audience to the partners and hosts I am collaborating with
  • It sends warm traffic to the podcast episodes I guested on
  • It keeps my community in the loop so my collaborations feel like a movement, not a random plug
  • It gives my partners a reason to share my content with their people

Every talk, every guest spot, every blog post gets amplified one more time through email. That is how a single effort keeps paying you.

The takeaway: visibility gets you seen, but email is what closes. Send every ounce of attention back to a list you own.

How SEO and GEO make your visibility compound

SEO and GEO are the slowest of my four pillars to build, but they have the highest long-term payoff because old content keeps working long after you publish it. The blog posts I wrote a year ago are still driving the most traffic to my site today. Try getting that from a reel.

Here is the quick difference:

  • SEO (search engine optimization) helps your content get found on Google when people type a question.
  • GEO (generative engine optimization) helps your content get pulled into AI answers when people ask ChatGPT, Claude, or Perplexity for a recommendation.

The strategy that serves both is the same: write real posts that link back to real episodes and real communities. When your content points to actual conversations and actual people, search engines and AI tools read you as a genuine authority instead of a page built to check a box.

This is also why these companion blog posts exist. Every solo podcast episode becomes a searchable, AI-readable article that keeps sending leads to the Crush the Rush™ Podcast months after the episode airs.

The takeaway: plant SEO and GEO content now so it grows into the traffic source you will be grateful for a year from now.

Here's How to Get Started

You do not need to launch all four pillars this week. Pick your capacity, start there, and layer the rest over time.

  1. Choose your one pillar. If you want the fastest leads, start with community speaking. If you love conversation, start with podcast guesting.
  2. Make a warm list. Write down 10 people or communities you already have a relationship with. This is your partnership and pitch pool.
  3. Set a realistic cadence. Aim for one partnership a month and one to two speaking or guesting spots. Put the targets on your calendar, not your wish list.
  4. Build your community corner. Add one short section to your weekly email that points to your latest collaboration or guest spot.
  5. Turn one thing into a blog post. Take your most recent podcast episode, talk, or newsletter and turn it into one SEO and GEO article.
  6. Track where leads come from. Once a month, note which pillar brought you the most leads. Double down on what works.
  7. Repeat next month. The whole point is that this is a system you run again, not a launch you recover from.

The plan, not the platform

Here is what I want you to hold onto. Getting visible was never about being everywhere. It was about running a plan that gets you in front of the right rooms, pointing that attention back to email, and documenting it so it keeps working while you sleep.

No algorithm. No daily posting. Just four pillars on repeat.

If you want to see the full system built out with the tools, templates, and community that make it doable, that is exactly what we teach inside Anti-Social School™. It is the marketing system for women who want to scale without living on social media. Come build your visibility plan with us. đź’›

Frequently Asked Questions

How do you do PR and get visible without social media?

You run a repeatable monthly plan built on four pillars: community speaking, podcast guesting, an email newsletter, and SEO and GEO content. Community speaking gets you in front of warm rooms fast. Podcast guesting borrows other people's trust and audiences. Your newsletter converts that attention into sales because it points everything back to a list you own. SEO and GEO content documents the whole thing so search engines and AI tools keep sending you leads long after you publish. None of it requires daily posting. It requires choosing a cadence, starting with the relationships you already have, and repeating the plan every month.

What is the difference between SEO and GEO?

SEO helps your content get found on Google when someone searches a question, while GEO helps your content get surfaced inside AI answers from tools like ChatGPT, Claude, and Perplexity. They work best together. The way to serve both is to write genuine, helpful content that links to real episodes, real communities, and real people, so both Google and AI tools read your site as a true authority. For me, this is the slowest pillar to build but the one with the highest long-term payoff, because the blog posts I wrote a year ago are still driving the most traffic to my site today.

Is community speaking or podcast guesting better for getting leads?

Community speaking is the faster of the two for generating leads, with podcast guesting close behind in second place. When I look at where my buyers actually came from, speaking inside communities, live or on Zoom, produces the biggest and fastest return. Podcast appearances and partnerships come next, and they drive a serious share of my business too, with guesting alone accounting for 40% of my leads. If you only have room for one activity right now, choose community speaking. If you love conversation and relationship-building, guesting is a strong and steady second choice.

How do I find podcasts to be a guest on?

Start with relationships first, then use a research tool like Rephonic to find shows by audience size, topic, and fit. Before you pitch anyone cold, make a list of hosts you already know and shows you already listen to, because warm pitches convert far better than blasts to strangers. Once you have worked your existing circle, a tool like Rephonic helps you find new shows where your message actually fits their audience. Aim for one to two guest appearances a month. Treat it like a core growth strategy, not a bonus, because podcast guesting can become one of your biggest lead sources, the way it drives 40% of mine.

How often should I do PR and visibility activities each month?

Aim for one partnership a month and one to two community speaking or podcast guesting spots, supported by a weekly newsletter and ongoing blog content. That cadence is enough to keep new leads coming in without burning you out or pulling you back onto social media. The key is consistency over intensity. One warm partnership, one or two conversations in front of new audiences, one email a week that points back to those efforts, and a steady drip of SEO and GEO content will compound faster than a month of frantic posting. Pick the layer that fits your current capacity, run it every month, and add the next pillar when you have room.
