How to Organize your Month with the Crush the Rush PlannerApr 05, 2021
Life gets busy. There's always so much to do and you need a system to organize it all. Here's my system for time management and productivity using the Crush the Rush Method to plan your month.
I outline this method in my Crush the Rush Quarterly planner. The ONLY planner that combines business and life all in one. Merging all things productivity with a proven strategic process to help you find your focus and see real results in priorities that matter the most to you!
Use these 4 steps to get you started:
STEP 1: What are your remaining quarterly goals? What can you minimize? Do they fit into your yearly plan? I use my "pillar" system and pick 1 goal for each personal pillar I have. As an example, I might have one goal for personal, one for business, one for my 9-5, and one for family.
STEP 2: Breakdown these goals into the next 3 months. What do you need to focus on this month? What can be moved to next month?
STEP 3: For the goals that need to be accomplished this month, are you overscheduled? What can be delegated, paired, or batched? When will you work on these projects? (Actually write them down in your planner. I like to pick one focus a week). What resources if any do you need to be successful? How can you ensure you are going to get these projects done?
By the end of the exercise, you should have your weekly goals mapped out for the month that leads you back to your quarterly and yearly objectives. It just takes a few minutes to map it out and makes all the difference.
