The Origin Story: Holly-Days

Back in 2022, I had just wrapped up a launch and realized something huge: I didn’t want to do that again in July. I wanted to be outside with my family, planning our next trip, and soaking up our “life-first” business lifestyle. But I didn’t want to disappear from my community, either.
 
So I asked myself:
  • How can we continue to serve our audience without being online every day?
  • What would a summer sale look like if it actually aligned with my energy and our family calendar?
  • And what would it feel like to make selling fun?
Holly-Days was born.
We chose a one-week promo window in July, named the event after yours truly, and built a completely automated experience featuring:
  • Three curated offers (it can work with one)
  • A limited-time bonus structure
  • Pre-written emails and landing pages
The result?
Our highest summer sales to date—while I was on the road with my family.

How to Create Your Own Business Holiday

1. Choose Your Timing (Strategically)

This isn’t just about your calendar—it’s about your energy and your audience’s behavior.
Ask yourself:
  • When do I feel most energized to create content?
  • When does my audience need a spark or a reset?
  • What season is typically quiet—but still has opportunity?
