I started my business almost a year ago and thanks to some amazing advice from my coach, one of the first things I did was map out my signature method.
Your signature method is basically a framework for how you deliver services and your expertise to your clients. It's important because it immediately establishes credibility. It also helps differentiate you from others in your field.
For example, my Crush the Rush method focuses on Systems, Strategy, and Social media schedules to scale on a part-time schedule. I deliver this through 4 steps.
So when someone asks me what I do, I can easily break it down into a few steps. Or better yet when I am speaking on podcasts or giving presentations I can use these steps so the audience can relate to what I do and how I do it. From a more legal standpoint, it also creates intellectual property for your business.
It is YOUR method. With your expertise.
The good news? It isn’t hard to create your signature framework. And you will become known for what YOU do.
You can establish your signature method through 3 easy steps.
1) Do a BIG braindump. This is the fun part. Be creative.
2) Put them in a logical order. Think about the best way you can teach this.
3) Name it! Establish some authority. And make it your own.
